Woodbury County Higher Education

Colleges and Universities:

Two private colleges, one health sciences college, and one community college are headquartered in the area: Morningside College, a private, four year school offering over forty majors; Briar Cliff University, providing a higher education with a Catholic perspective; St. Luke's College providing high quality, health system-based education; and Western Iowa Tech Community College, offering over 70 programs of study with credits that transfer to virtually any college or university in the US.

The area is also home to ISU Design West, a satellite program of the Iowa State University College of Design aimed at expanding regional educational opportunities in the design disciplines of architecture, landscape architecture, urban and regional planning, graphic design and interior design.
